The five most influential women to follow on social media platforms

I am feeling anxious and excited to write my first blog as a public relations student and cannot wait to receive feedback from you. As it is women’s month the blog will pay tribute and discuss five influential women who are visible on the social media platforms. Today’s bog will mainly be about women who do not only stand out in the social media platforms but are influential to their followers.

As a women myself I take pride in embracing these five influential women who have not only being credited for their fame but for the fact that they have given back to the communities they come from, be it inspiring someone or helping at an orphanage home and giving orphans hope. These women are talented in different disciplines, others in the art platforms such as radio, television and films, and others are talented or popular for their entrepreneurial skills.

  7. You got your influencers spot on Lebo, well according to what I think especially with Bonang, Khanyi D & Basetsana. Those are women who basically 'opened doors' for every other woman in SA. I mean they give each and every woman ;black and white; hope to become what wasn't acceptable before for woman.

  11. After reading your blog, I wish I was born a woman too. It was very thoughtful of you to write about this and include the aforementioned women. I mean, the perception does not only inspire but it educates women and the young generation to come out of their comfort zones, make a living for themselves and not solely rely on other people(men to be precise) for their livelihood.

We need to transmit the idea that education is not just to make you more well-informed and give you a memory bank of information and skills that lead to a career/money; but that, through the use of education you become a more brainy person, a deeper philosopher, better able to express yourself, better able to understand all sensations. We need to see education as being able to grow the mind rather than fill it with data, quotations and formulae. We should seek to become authors, not books. Lebogang, thank you for putting this up on your blog!
